Peels range in intensity:
Superficial – mildest, involves minimal to no downtime. Light exfoliation.
Medium – Affects both the epidermis and the upper layers of the underlying dermis. Best for treating pigment irregularities, acne scars, moderate sun damage, lines/wrinkles. Recovery time is approximately 3-5 days.
Deep – Penetrates down to the lower dermal layers. Most effective at reducing discoloration, scars, age spots, wrinkles, skin tightening. Recovery time approximately 7-10 days.
This peel penetrates deep into the epidermis, produces the most exfoliation of SkinMedia peels and improves the appearance of your skin. It uses an advanced formulation of peeling agents . Minimal downtime, you will see noticeable results after one peel with significant results after 3-6 peels. Designed for moderate to severe skin imperfections, sun damage, acne, melasma, large pores and uneven skin texture. For all skin types.
This peel is designed for mild to moderate skin imperfections such as acne, hyperpigmentation and post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation. Minimal downtime, mild peeling lasting 2-5 days, can be applied every 3-4 weeks until desired results are achieved. Results are cumulative and max benefits are seen with a series of 3-6 Vitalize peels.
