Restylane Lyft is injected into the skin with an ultrafine needle or cannula to plump the skin to smooth away wrinkles and folds such as the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth or to increase the fullness of your cheeks. Injections for moderate to severe facial wrinkles/folds. Lyft may also be injected with needle/cannula under the skin on the back of the hand to address volume loss. Indicated for those over age 21.
Restylane Lyft is a clear injectable gel composed of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that already exists in the body. Restylane Lyft is non animal based and free from animal protein. Contains 0.3% lidocaine to reduce the discomfort associated with the treatment.
A week before your procedure, it is recommended that you avoid taking aspirin and other anti-inflammatory drugs which thin the blood. This will reduce the risk of bruising at the injection site. It is suggested that you avoid strenuous physical activities, excessive sun/heat exposure as well, or consumption of alcohol for the first 24 hours post injection. No makeup, as able, post injection for at least 12 hours. This will help reduce the chance of infection. Possible side effects include redness, itching, swelling or bumps to the area of injection. These reactions are usually mild to moderate and resolve within a week. Bruising can happen with facial injections. If you have an important event, I recommend the injections be completed 4 weeks ahead of the event. This gives you time to resolve any bruising, gives the filler time to settle and also time for any tweaks as needed. Ice is great for any swelling after injections.
Mid-cheek or cheek volume loss? Would you like to have some projection of your cheekbone? Hands looking older than you’d like? Lyft is right for you if you’re looking to correct volume loss to your cheeks, midface or hands.
