Restylane Refyne

Restylane Refyne is injected under the facial skin.  Helps to smooth away the wrinkles/folds that may form at the sides of your nose and run down toward the corners of your mouth.  Restylane Refyne is made using a process called XpresHAn Technology, this creates a smooth, injectable gel that can give your skin a natural, soft look.  Restylane Refyne has been shown to maintain effects for up to 12 months.

How Does Restylane Refyne Work?

Restylane Refyne is composed of  hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar, found in the body.  It gives the skin moisture, volume and elasticity.  A small amount of lidocaine is added to numb the skin.  Restylane Refyne is made using a process called XpresHAn Technology this creates a smooth, injectable gel that can give your skin a natural, soft look.

Are There Do's & Don'ts?

A week before your procedure, it is recommended that you avoid taking aspirin and other anti-inflammatory drugs which thin the blood. This will reduce the risk of bruising at the injection site. It is suggested that you avoid strenuous physical activities, excessive sun/heat exposure as well, or consumption of alcohol for the first 24 hours post injection.  No makeup, as able, post injection for at least 12 hours.  This will help reduce the chance of infection.  Possible side effects include redness, itching, swelling or bumps to the area of injection.  These reactions are usually mild to moderate and resolve within a week.  Bruising can happen with facial injections.  If you have an important event, I recommend the injections be completed 4 weeks ahead of the event.  This gives you time to resolve any bruising, gives the filler time to settle and also time for any tweaks as needed. Ice is great for any swelling after injections.

Is Restylane Refyne Right for me?

Refyne is a soft, natural filler to smooth and restore areas of volume loss.  Improves elasticity. Refyne integrates with your skin to help smooth out the lines that run alongside the corners of your mouth and the flexibility you need for natural looking movement and expressions.
