Juvéderm VOLLURE® is the newest addition to the Juvderm family of fillers. It is FDA-approved to use Vycross technology in the wrinkles around you nose and mouth, which also happens to be the number-one dermal treatment area. What’s exciting about Juvéderm VOLLURE® is that it was shown to last up to 18 months from the initial or touch-up injection, which is the longest-lasting result shown in clinical studies.
How Does VOLLURE Work?Juvéderm VOLLURE® is administered to targeted areas through a smooth-flowing injection, allowing Judy full control to achieve the desired look. Juvéderm VOLLURE® is formulated with Lidocaine (an anesthetic) to reduce discomfort by numbing the injection area during treatment. The procedure has minimal downtime or recovery time. The total treatment takes about 10 to 15 minutes and results are nearly instant. Patients can undergo a full treatment during their lunch hour and go right back to work.

Are There Do's & Don'ts?A week before your procedure, it is recommended that you avoid taking aspirin and other anti-inflammatory drugs which thin the blood. This will reduce the risk of bruising at the injection site. It is suggested that you avoid strenuous physical activities or excessive sun and heat exposure as well as the consumption of alcohol, at least for the first 24 hours post injection. Also, don't massage the injection site unless directed to do so as this may achieve undesirable effects. To reduce swelling, you can prop yourself up with an extra pillow the night of your treatment.
